We Think More Living Should Happen Outside
In our dear, rainy Portland, finding solutions to achieve multi-seasonal use of outdoor spaces is something we strive to do. For a referral partner, we’ve designed a backyard oasis, complete with a dining area under an arbor, a covered living area, a hot tub area, and a replacement of an existing dilapidated garage. For this project, the challenge was to get these outdoor living areas covered without impeding light on the main house. Various sun studies were completed to get the structures to just the right height.
This project is in permitting and construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.
